ஐப்பசி மாத முழுக்கு திருவிழா ஆரம்பமாகிவிட்டது. இத்திருவிழா எங்கள் ஊரின் பாரம்பரிய திருவிழா, இது எங்கள் ஊருக்கு மட்டுமே சொந்தமான திருவிழா. இத்திருவிழா ஓவ்வருவருட ஐப்பசி மாதம் முதல் நாளன்று ஆரம்பமாகும், ஐப்பசி மாதம் முழுவதும் இத்திருவிழா நடைபெறும். இத்திருவிழா மயிலாடுதுறை துலாகட்டத்தில் காவேரிக்கரையில் நடைபெறும். தீர்த்தவாரி காவேரிநீரில் தீர்த்தம் தந்தவுடன் மக்கள் அனைவரும் புண்ணியநதியானா காவேரியில் முழ்கி நீராடுவோர் இதனால் அனைத்து நலன்ங்களும் பெறமுடியும் என்பது ஐதிகம்.
இத்திருவிழாவின் முடிவில் சிறப்பு முழுக்கு நடைபெறும் அன்று பெரும் திரளான மக்கள் காவேரியில் முழ்கி நீராடுவார்கள், அதற்கு மறுதினம் முடவன் முழுக்கு என்று கொண்டாடப்படும், இது ஊனமுற்றவர்களுக்கான சிறப்பு முழுக்கு.
